PROBLEM

Each product will be tested before leaving the
factory to ensure that the product received by
the customer is of high quality. However, REXROTH has received a series of customer
complaints about product quality. After
investigation, the cleanliness of the hydraulic
oi l ma i nl y r ema i ni ng i n the h y d r a u l i c
components is not up to standard, which is
easy to cause mechanical failure. In order to
solve this problem, the hydraulic oil in the
hydraulic test bench needs to be treated.

SOLUTION

In July 2014 WJL-100 filtration unit was installed
to oil tank with a flow rate 6600L/hour. Particles pass flow balanced charge zone and
carry negative/positive charges respectively, two types charged particle interact with each
other and combine to form the bigger sizes
which can be captured by standard filters easily.

RESULT

After filtration, the oil analysis showed the
a good result of cleanliness of hydraulic oil.

PROBLEM

The test bench runs continuously every day. Large
amounts of contaminants return to oil tank as the
transmission fluid circulates in all steering
components. Fluid condition turned bad causing
inline filter failure. Many fine particles or impurities
remained inside steering components. Vehicle
manufacturer rejec ted their produc t s as
unqualified. In order to obtain high cleanliness of
oil, they increased the frequency the inline filter
replacement and even oil change.

for their test bench for a continuous filtration. Also they required two sets of particle counter to
monitor the real-time oil condition.

PROBLEM

Particle counter indicated that the purified fluid
was in great cleanliness NAS1638, grade 7. And
the changes in fluid color was obvious. Client
recognized the performance of WJL filtration
unit which helped them extend the oil change
interval and ensure each steering product is
tested in a clean fluid.
